Alice Mae Yszenga (Gerou)

December 8, 1931 – December 13, 2025

Alice Yszenga, 94, of Kenosha passed away on December 13, 2025, at Hospice Alliance – Hospice House.

Alice was born on December 8, 1931, in Kenosha, WI, the daughter of the late Paul and Alice (Starr) Gerou. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Alice married John Yszenga on May 27, 1950, at St. Andrew's Church. She was employed at Kenosha Memorial Hospital in dietary for 22 years, retiring in 1993. She was a loving mom and will be sadly missed.

Survivors include her daughter, Cindy (George Brown) Yszenga; son, Larry (Traci Sobczyk) Yszenga; her sister and brother-in-law, Paulette and Ken Tredup; brother-in-law, Richard Legler; also included are her 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Alice was preceded in death by her husband; son, John; daughter, Kathy and her sister and brothers.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Hospice Alliance for the excellent care of Alice and a special thanks to Traci for helping with the care of Alice.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
