Allan Silva, 64, of Kenosha passed away on May 3, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center of Kenosha after a brave battle against two types of cancer.
He was born on October 10, 1958, in Highland Park, IL, and grew up in Random Lake, WI. Allan was a self-employed sales professional and a member of the United States Army (82nd Airborne), Kenosha Family Church, and Fox Valley Community Church of Paddock Lake. He was ordained as a Pastor and went on missionary work in Botswana, Africa. Allan loved cheering for the Milwaukee Bucks, playing basketball, riding his bike, dancing, snacking, and mainly just being a big kid at heart, most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Silva of Kenosha; children, Autumn (Ron) Pershing of Grafton, Anna Rocha (Silva) of Kenosha, Alysha "Sha" (Jared) Stearman of Kenosha; mother, Jean Smith of Grafton; brothers, David (Margaret) Smith of Green Bay, Daniel (Vickie) Smith of Florida, Mike (Liz) Smith of Fredonia; and 5 grandchildren, Skylar and Julia (Anna), Emma, Sophia and Owen (Autumn).
Allan was preceded in death by his father, brother Jack, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 29, 2023 at Anderson Park, Pavilion #1 (8730-22nd Ave., Kenosha, WI 53143) starting at 2:00PM with Military Honors staring at 4:00PM.
