Angelita Santiago, age 92, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Angelita was born on February 6, 1933, in Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Evaristo and Juana (Rivera) Soto. She was educated in the schools of Puerto Rico and carried her culture, faith, and traditions with her throughout her life.

Angelita was a devoted member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and lived her life guided by faith, kindness, and love.

Angelita found joy in cooking, sewing/embroidering, and attending church, but her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family, friends and Best friend Denise. She especially treasured the moments she shared with her grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the comforting feeling of being loved.

She survived by her children: Gloria Caban (Tony), Gladys Salus, Sari Santiago, Reina (Dave) Rivera, Alba Larsen, Margie Soto (Alejo), Darlene Soto (Juan), Raymond Santiago (Rachel), Steven Santiago (Raquel), and Michelle (Ramon) Ynosencio. her brother, Tito Soto (Yolanda); as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her love and memories in their hearts forever.

Angelita was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Margaro Santiago; and her children, Monserrate (Peggy) Santiago; Michael (Elizabeth) Santiago ; Evalina DeLoach ( Mel); Efraim Santiago (survived by his wife, Teresa); and Edwin Santiago (survived by his spouse, Yoneko).

A visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with funeral services to follow immediately at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at All Saints Cemetery.

Angelita will be remembered for her strength, her gentle spirit, her deep faith, and the unconditional love she gave to her family. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched and the family she cherished so deeply.
