Anita Caroline Cate

1931-2025

Anita Cate, 93, of Pleasant Prairie passed away on February 14, 2025, at An Innovative Care.

Anita was born on May 14, 1931, in Faribault, MN, the daughter of the late Fred and Ella (Titske) Hubbell. She was educated in the schools of MN. Anita married Noland Cate on April 26, 1951, in Faribault, MN. She was a member of New Life Lutheran Church. Her hobbies included baking, cooking, reading the bible, loved animals especially dogs and cats, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family especially with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Curtis (Linda) Cate of Greendale, Pamela Sue Sinozich of Pleasant Prairie, Amber (Dan) Swanson of Salem; daughter-in-law, Linda Cate; also included are her 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Noland Cate; son, Rick Cate; sisters, Arlene Sellner, Leora Hubbell; grandchildren, Gene Cate, Emily Sinozich and Christian Kuehnl.

A memorial gathering will be held at New Life Lutheran Church, Somers Campus (1520-Green Bay Rd., Kenosha, WI 53144) on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 11:00AM-12:00PM with memorial services to follow immediately at 12:00PM.
