Aurora C. Torres

1928-2022

Aurora Torres, 93, of Kenosha passed away on Tuesday July 5, 2022, at Grande Prairie Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family.

Aurora was born July 16, 1928, in Irapuato, State of Guanajuato, Mexico. She was educated in the schools of Mexico and attended the Military School of Nursing de la Cruz Verde in Mexico City. Aurora married Juan De Dios Torres in Mexico on Aug 16 ^th , 1953. She was employed as a registered nurse for many years at Kenosha Memorial Hospital. Her hobbies included cosmetology & fashion, international & domestic travel, crocheting, knitting, embroidering, and cooking.

Survivors include her son, Robert Torres of Janesville; daughter, Diana Martinson of Kenosha; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild and another that is on the way. Aurora was preceded in death by her husband, Juan, 2 children, Consuela Torres, and Victor Torres, 5 brothers, 8 sisters and Randy Siler.

A visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Thursday July 14, 2022, from 10:00AM-12:00PM with funeral services to follow immediately at 12:00PM. Burial at All Saints Cemetery.
