Barbara F. Powell

Barbara Powell, 71, of Kenosha passed away on April 27, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center of Kenosha surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara was born on January 2, 1952, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Eugene and Norma Jean (Russell) Thomas. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Barbara married Joseph Powell on August 18, 2002, in Kenosha. She worked as a dental receptionist for many years at SPS Dental (Santarelli-Perri-Santarelli). Her hobbies included cheering for the Green Bay Packers, NASCAR, camping, gardening but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Powell of Kenosha; children, Annette Hughes of Racine, Keith (Josie) Hughes of Kenosha; sister, Linda Huff of Kenosha; grandchildren, Kassie (Edward) Sanford, Riley Hughes, Hayle (Logan Koehn) Brauer, Abbie Brauer also included are 2 great-grandchildren, Otto & Henry and one on the way. Barbara is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many other friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
