Barbara Reed
1946-2022

Barbara Reed, 76, of Zion passed away on Tuesday August 23, 2022, at Aurora Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara was born on April 29, 1946, in Racine, the daughter of the late Melvin & Leona (Cousineau) Fraid. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Bradford H.S. Barbara married Kenneth Reed on November 23, 1965, in Georgia. She was employed in Data Entry for the U.S. Navy. Her hobbies included crocheting, going on casino trips, but most of all spending time with her family & friends.

Survivors include her children, LaDonna (David) Hetrick of Racine, Kim (Matt) Kerridge of FL; brother, Dennis Fraid of Cheboygan, MI; grandchildren, Blake, Sonny, Jessica,  Paige & Ian; and 3 great grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, and brothers, Gary, Lary, and John.

A visitation will be held on Friday August 26, 2022, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 6:00-8:00PM, with funeral services to follow at 8:00PM. Burial Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Tuesday September 20, 2022, at 2:00PM.
