Beverly "Sue" Vinson

1930-2024

Sue Vinson, 93, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on September 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Sue was born on December 24, 1930, in Willow Branch, IN, the daughter of the late Noble and Vivian (Welborn) Martin. She received her degree at Indiana University. Sue married Robert Vinson on June 11, 1952. She was a teacher for a few years, but mostly worked as a homemaker and volunteer. Her hobbies included reading, playing bridge, cooking, and baking, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include her children, Randa Walter of OH, Becky (Greg) Thompson of Kenosha, WI, Sarah Turner of Milwaukee, WI, Mike Vinson of OH, Pat Vinson of IL, Ann (Randy) Vaughan of OH and Jane (Jay) Vinson of OH; also included are many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, David and John; and her sisters, Jo and Lee.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention would be appreciated.
