Carolyn Davis, 78, of Kenosha passed away on Sunday November 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Carolyn was born on April 12, 1946, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Eugene & Irene (Madison) Bode. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, including Kemper Hall and St. Joseph Catholic Academy. Carolyn married Ronald Davis in 1984 in Kenosha. Together they enjoyed many adventures- their favorite pastime was taking motorcycle trips throughout the United States. Since she was a child, Carolyn was known for her unconditional love for others and having a special place in her heart for animals. She enjoyed decades of her chosen career as a beautician and developed a friendship with many of her clients. She was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church and looked forward to attending services regularly. Her hobbies included painting, knitting & crocheting, fishing, camping, boating, cooking & baking, cheering for the Packers, watching wrestling, but most of all Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family & friends.
Survivors include her daughters, Jacqueline Henricksen, Judy Alcalay, Nikki Alcalay, and Cheryl Davis; brother, Jeffrey Bode; sister-in-laws, Jackie Bode & Virginia "Pinky" Davis; son-in-law, Michael Griffin; childhood friend, Patti (Shulski) Sabby; very close friends, Lanett Sperber & Wendy (Wrixton) Wagner; like-kin, Kendrick West; 9 grandchildren; Franklin Jones, Makaya (Gordon) and Kaleb Hargrove, Caelon Henricksen, Brandel Gordon, Collin Alcalay, August & Logan Siebert, and Kyle Peckham; 8 great-grandchildren; Maliyah, Kennedy, Brooklyn, Kaleb Jr., Kadence, Noah, Liam, and Decarii; 4 nieces; Robbi, Raquel, Robin and Lynn; and 1 nephew, Steve.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald A. Davis, daughters; Elizabeth Alcalay, Colleen (Davis) Packham, Diane (Davis) Nelson; brother, Dennis Bode; brother-in-law, George Davis; niece, Jennifer Davis, and very close friends Suzanne "Suzie" Bower and Jodi Dear.
A memorial gathering will be held at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 11:00AM-1:00PM with memorial services to follow.
