Catherine Hill

1959-2025

Catherine Hill, 65, of Kenosha passed away on April 14, 2025, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Catherine was born on July 12, 1959, in Waukegan, IL, the daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Deignan) Metzger. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Catherine married Sylvester Hill on September 9, 1979, in Waukegan, IL. She worked at Leblanc for many years. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, gardening, spending time outdoors but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Sylvester Hill of Kenosha; children, Amanda (Arthur) Patton of Kenosha, Leslie (Brian) Wesley of LA, Elizabeth (Keondai Hamilton) Hill of Kenosha, Sean (Crystal) Hill of Kenosha, Sylvester Hill III of Kenosha; sister, Sheila Nurdin of Kenosha; also included are her 18 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Patrick Metzger.

A memorial gathering will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Wednesday April 30, 2025, from 1:00PM-3:00PM with memorial services to follow immediately at 3:00PM.
