Charles “Chuck” Bogda, 88, of Bristol passed away on July 4, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center of Kenosha surrounded by his loving family.

Charles was born on May 31, 1938, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Herman and Florence (Ellman) Bogda. He was educated in the schools of Chicago. Charles married Darlene Werner on March 18, 1959, in Chicago. He was self-employed in the scrape service for many years and before being self-employed he worked for the Milwaukee Railroad Company. His hobbies included playing lottery tickets, going on casino trips, fishing, hunting, but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Bogda of Bristol, WI; children, Robert (Cynthia) Bogda of Fox Lake, IL, Charles H. (Waltraud) Bogda of NC, Lucinda Bogda of Chicago, IL; also included is his grandson, Kevin Bogda of TX. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Norman and his sisters, Florence and Adeline.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
