Charles Tines, 46, of Kenosha passed away on Friday December 19, 2025, at Froedtert Milwaukee surrounded by his loving family.

Charles was born on September 17, 1979, in Chicago, the son of the late Charles R. & Shirley (Boyd) Tines Sr. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha, attending Bradford H.S. Charles was employed at various restaurants throughout the years as a cook. His hobbies included cooking & grilling out, dancing, telling jokes, cheering for the bears, Bulls, & Cubs, but most of all spending time with his family & friends.

Survivors include his children, Tavarionte (Ariana) Turner, Quaneisha (Anthony Fitch-Coleman) Tines, Dezmeir (Gisselle Ramirez) Tines all of Kenosha, Rocsi Jackson of Las Vegas; father who raised her. Cornell Boyd of Kenosha; stepmother, Shirley Winford of Chicago; brothers, Alington (Andreal) Davis, Chuckie Harris, Steven (Patricia) Varnado, Ahjamaha Varnado; sisters, Shirley Boyd, Ruthie Harris, Ernestine Harris, Tammy Clavin, Kenyetta Matthews; and 8 grandchildren with 1 on the way. Charles was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Boyd Sr. His father Charles Tines Sr. brothers, Nathaniel Varnado & Clifford Davis, and sister, Tonya Harris.

A memorial gathering will be held at Blessing Center located at 1925 65th street Kenosha, WI starting at 1:00pm and the repast will be held at Buckets located at 2031 Lathrop Avenue, Racine, WI starting at 3:00pm.
