Curtis D. Erlandson

1942-2026

Curtis Erlandson, 83, of Kenosha passed away on January 24, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center of Kenosha surrounded by his loving family.

Curtis was born on January 28, 1942, in Detroit, MI, the son of the late Thorvald and Esther (Grimstead) Erlandson. He was educated in the schools of MN. Curtis married Jeanne Polden, and they later divorced. He then married Joyce Floan on August 3, 1991, in Kenosha. He worked as a plater for Snap-On Tools for over 30 years. His hobbies included woodworking, puzzles, model race cars, NASCAR, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, Wisconsin Badgers, traveling with his wife, but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family especially with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Erlandson of Kenosha; children, Connie Rydzik of Eau Claire, Rod (Elaine) Erlandson of Kenosha, Rick Erlandson of AZ, Brian (Jennifer) Erlandson of S.C.; step-children, Brian (Caroline) Tidquist of Kenosha, Brent (Jennifer) Tidquist of Ringle and Ben (Daniel Mattson) Tidquist of Kenosha; grandchildren, Samantha (Scott) Fessler, Christina (Nick) Seeley, Kayla Erlandson, Jonathan Finn Erlandson; also included are his great-grandchildren, Lorelai, Lynex, Lydiah and Landyn Seeley. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; son, John; grandson, Brock; grand-daughter, Miranda and his great-grandson, Lakylin.

A memorial gathering will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10:00AM-12:00PM with memorial services to follow immediately at 12:00PM.
