Daniel Patrick Drury

1936-2025

Daniel Drury, 89, of Winthrop Harbor passed away on October 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Daniel was born on September 19, 1936, in North Chicago, IL, son of the late Edward E. and Beulah (Keith) Drury. He attended grade school in North Chicago, IL, and traveled daily by train to Evanston, IL to attend Saint George High School. Dan graduated from St. Mary's College in Winona, MN. On October 28, 1967, Daniel married Judith Hamerski from Winona, MN in her hometown. He worked as an accountant for Liquid Controls Corporation for 30 years before moving to Andrea & Orendorff Accounting for the remainder of his career. Daniel was a proud member of the United States Army. He attended St. Mary's Catholic Church where he led Bible studies and was an active member of the RCIA program. Daniel's hobbies included antique cars, history, gardening and he loved spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Daniel is survived by his two children, son Patrick Drury (wife Sara Stevenson) of Cold Spring, NY and daughter Joyce Rosen of Twin Lakes, WI. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Seth Rosen, Lily Rosen, Celia Drury, Kira Drury and Gavin Drury. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Judith Drury and his sisters, Evelyn Hill and Mary Squire.

A visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 3:00PM-7:00PM. Visitation will continue the following day Saturday, November 8, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church from 9:30AM-10:00AM with funeral services to follow immediately at 10:00AM. Burial at St. George Cemetery.
