Danny Waites

1954-2024

Danny Waites, 69, of Kenosha passed away on March 7, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Danny was born on September 16, 1954, in Waukegan, IL, the son of the late George and Bessie (Franklin) Waites. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Danny married Connie Lucas on May 5th, 1976, in Kenosha. He was employed for the Kenosha Water Department for many years. His hobbies included playing video games, working with computers and was very tech savvy. Danny also enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his pit bulls but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren, who he would describe as his purpose in life.

Survivors include his wife, Connie; children, Tracy Jefferson, Toni Waites of Kenosha, Nikki Waites of Kenosha; brothers, Calvin Waites of Kenosha, CJ Franklin of Kenosha, Jerry Waites of Waukegan, IL, Ronald Waites of Kenosha, Rodney Waites of Kenosha; also included are 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren who meant the world to him. Danny was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Andre D Ross, Jr.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
