Dorothy Mae Taylor, 78, of Pleasant Prairie, died Monday September 29, 2014 at her residence.
She was born on February 25, 1936 in Outagamie County, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Fred and Marie (Jorgensen) Schmidt. She married Charles Taylor on March 6, 1954. She was educated in the schools of Outagamie Co. & Racine. Dorothy worked as a house wife. She attended Jehovah's Witness Kenosha Congregation. Her hobbies included horseback riding, reading, cross stitching, and spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband, Charles of Pleasant Prairie, four children Terry (Dave) Hetchler, Charles (Darlene) Taylor both of Racine, Troy Taylor, Todd (Carolyn) Taylor both of Kenosha, her sister
Rose Dahlin of Racine, nine grandchildren & thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Betty Kenth, Arlene Smithkey, & her brother Fred Schmidt Jr.
Funeral services were private.
