DuWayne A. Darrin

1935-2023

DuWayne Darrin, 88, of Kenosha passed away on Saturday December 30, 2023 at Parkside Manor.

DuWayne was born on March 25, 1935 in Wausau, the son of the late Alfred & Claravetta (Laporte) Darrin.  He was educated in the schools of Wausau.  DuWayne married Yvonne Emon on April 12, 1955 in Marathon.  He was a member of the U.S. Army, also serving in the Coast Guard. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.  His hobbies included hunting & fishing, farming & gardening, cheering for the Packers, but most of all spending time with his family & friends.

Survivors include his children, Gary (Bonnie) Darrin of OH, Cheryl (Ken) Slater of Pleasant Prairie, Craig Darrin of Kenosha, Pamela (Richard) Meyer of Nekoosa; many grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.  DuWayne was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne, and sisters, Judith & Dixie.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday January 17, 2024 at St. Mary's Catholic Church from 10:00AM-11:00AM, with a mass to follow at 11:00AM.
