Eric Lindsey King

1961-2023

Eric King, 61, of Kenosha passed away on April 6, 2023, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital.

Eric was born on June 10, 1961, in Kenosha, the son of the late William and Ernestine (Dudley) King. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Eric married Melanie Molgaard on September 4, 1985, in Kenosha then later divorced. He was self-employed as a musician playing bass guitar. His hobbies included helping people in the community and at the Shalom Center, loved music, cooking, cheering for the Green Bay Packers but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Star (George) Thompson of Kenosha, Josh King, Erica King, and Tekisha King of Alabama; brother, Clearthur Chambliss if Wisconsin; sisters, Tina Murray, Lynette King of Wisconsin, Mysha King of Mississippi; also included are his 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Eric was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Linda and his niece, Mya.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
