Geovonnie Amie, 18, of Racine passed away on June 24, 2026, in Racine.
Geovonnie was born on April 22, 2008, in Kenosha, the son of Chuck Johnson and Eulla Amie. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Geovonnie worked for Amazon in shipping and receiving. He was a member of Agape Gathering Place Church in Waukegan, IL. His hobbies included doing research for self-growth, traveling, fishing, driving his car, hanging out with his cousins but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors include his mother, Eulla Amie of Racine; brothers, David Brown, Chuck Johnson II and Chuck Johnson III of Racine; sister, Giyanah Amie of Racine; Aunt, Ena (David Vera) Renteria of Kenosha; uncles, Ivan & Juan Renteria; grandparents, Daniel and Aida Amie, Latonya Mace, Bernard Cox and Chuck Johnson Sr; also included are many other family members and friends. Geovonnie was preceded in death by his sister, Mikayla and his uncle, Martin Diaz-De Leon.
A visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Wednesday July 8, 2026, from 5:00PM-7:00PM with funeral services to follow immediately at 7:00PM.
