Ivan Kevo

Ivan Kevo, age 77, of Kansasville passed away on August 9, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Ivan was born on June 9, 1946, in Aptian, Yugoslavia, the son of the late Luka and Emma (Krista) Kevo. He was educated in the schools of Yugoslavia and Chicago. Ivan married Jasminka Kovacic on July 21, 2006, in Kenosha. He was an employee of Kemps Dairy, Fair Oaks Farms, Vita Foods and more as a mechanical engineer, managing multiple teams. Ivan enjoyed being outdoors and spending time in nature. He was passionate about hunting and fishing. There was no place he loved more than sitting on the lake fishing with his family. He loved his family dearly and adored spending time with them, especially with his grandchildren. Ivan was a kind and generous individual who cared genuinely about others.

Survivors include his wife, Jasminka Kevo of Kansasville; children, Frank Kovacic of Kansasville, John Kevo of Burlington, Tanya (Niko) Minakis of Downers Grove, IL, Natalija York of Kansasville, Dragan Jesic of Trevor; brother, Zvonko (Marijana) Kevo of IL; also included are his grandchildren, Julianna, Aidan, Jacob, Kasey, Tommy, Silas, Sasha, Jayden and Adrijana. Ivan was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held August 19th, 2023.

Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, August 19 th from 12 pm to 5 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S Milwaukee Ave (2 Blocks South of Dundee Rd), Wheeling. A life celebration service will be held at 4 pm.
