James Donahue, 82, of Kenosha passed away on May 30, 2026, at Hospice Alliance surrounded by his loving family.

James was born on October 3, 1943, in Harpers Ferrie, IA, the son of the late Edward and Violet (Sawdell) Donahue. He was educated in the schools of IA. James married Cheryl Fox on May 7, 1966, in Waukegan, IL. He worked as a welder for many years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, golfing, and cheering for the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family, especially with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Laurie Vaughn of Kenosha, Leah (Mike) Hough of Beach Park, IL, Angela (John) Allen of Kenosha; brother, Jerry Donahue of AL; sisters, Margaret (John) Elin of CA, Maureen (Dave) Graber of IA, Madonna Walsh of IA, Marilyn Kenney of IL; also included are his 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren with little Violet on the way. James was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cheryl; son, Lance James; daughter, Jodi; sisters, Marge, Mary, Marcella and Monica also included are his brothers, John, Joe and Edward as a child.

A visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Thursday June 11, 2026, from 4:00PM-6:00PM with funeral services to follow immediately at 6:00PM. Burial will take place at Mount Olivet.
