Joel Dickman

1965-2023

Joel Dickman, 57, of Kenosha passed away on June 6, 2023, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital.

Joel was born on September 15, 1965, in Kenosha, the son of the late Gerald and Joan (Schultz) Dickman. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Joel married Melissa Denninger, who later divorced. He was employed as a chemist for many years at Abbott Laboratories. His hobbies included motorcycling, bicycling, kayaking, cheering for the Green Bay Packers but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family, especially with his girlfriend and his dog.

Survivors include his long-time girlfriend, Janine Wilson of Kenosha; brothers, Jeffrey, James & Jeremy Dickman; also included is his nephew, Jacob Dickman. Joel was preceded in death by his parents and his children, Emma Rose and Alex.

A service will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church (7303-40th Ave., Kenosha, WI) on Saturday, August 5, 2023 starting at 2:00PM. Followed by a potluck lunch at Swedish American Club. Please bring a dish to pass. At 4 pm, the group will be going out on a sailboat to relinquish Joel's ashes. This part will be a limited amount of people due to capacity limitations thank you We will be setting off Chinese lanterns at dusk our second try celebrating his life. Approximately around 8:07 pm at memorial park in Kenosha
