John E. Holy

1940-2023

John (Jack) E. Holy, 82, of Kenosha passed away on November 5, 2023, at Azura Memory Care surrounded by his loving family.

Jack was born on December 3, 1940, in Kenosha, the son of the late John C. and Ferne (Schmitt) Holy. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Bradford High School. He received a BA from  the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and an MA from the University of Oklahoma. While teaching at Bradford High School for many years, "Mr. Holy" was known as fair and good natured. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, collecting things, and cheering for the Packers, Badgers, and Cubs. Jack was a generous man with family and friends and a strong supporter of local charities.

Survivors include his sister, Pam Holy, sister-in-law, Ingrid Verhulst, and  his special friends, Judy & Maureen.
