JOHN HILBERT NIELSON
May 10, 1957 – April 21, 2023

John H. Nielson, less than a month shy from his 66 years old, passed
away on April 21, 2023 at St. Lukes Hospital-Milwaukee surrounded by
his family.

John was born on May 10, 1957 in Manitowoc, WI. He was the
youngest son of the late Bertram & Ruth (Allan) Nielson. He was
educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Tremper H.S. John
served in the U.S. Navy, from 1976-1987 stationed in Keflavik,
Iceland. He was employed for many years in Drive Systems
Technology as Industrial AC/DC Service Tech. His hobbies included
grilling out (yes, even during winter), cooking, gardening, watching
mystery/comedy TV series, cheering for the Packers, Brewers, Bucks &
Badgers.

Survivors include his wife, Mayona Nielson of Salem; children from his
first marriage, Matthew Nielson of Kenosha, Dana (Heath) Johnson of
Milwaukee; brothers, Don (Jeri) Nielson of AZ, Tom (Linda) Nielson of
Kenosha; sister, Jean Nielson of Racine; and grandchildren, Seth,
Hannah, and Adam Johnson. John was preceded in death by his sister,
Joan.

A visitation will be held on Thursday April 27, 2023 at Kenosha Funeral
Services from 9:00AM-11:00AM, with funeral services to follow at
11:00AM.
