John Schulz

1953-2024

John G, Schulz, 70, of Kenosha passed away on February 19, 2024, at The Bay at Sheridan Skilled Nursing Center after a long illness.

John was born on June 15, 1953, in Richland Center, the son of the late Alvin and Shirley (Griffin) Schulz. He graduated from Bradford High School in Kenosha in 1973. He married the late Marilynn Neuville on May 12, 1979.  John worked as a security guard for many years. He was a member of Coleman Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church. His hobbies included attending church, ushering at church & trustee at Coleman Chapel, watching TV, computers, and most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his brothers, Jerry (Judy) Schulz of FL, Kevin Schulz of Kenosha, and Roger Lee (Mary) Schulz of VA. John is also survived by many other family and friends, especially his wonderful friends Phyllis and Ann who were such a great help to hem during his last years. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Marilyn, and his dear friend Teresa.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
