John W. Sucharda

1943-2022

John Sucharda, 78, of Kenosha passed away from a year long illness, on January 21, 2022, at Brookside Care Center, with his family by his side.

John was born on October 19, 1943, in Kenosha, the son of the late Lester and Helen (Zalubowski) Sucharda. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. John married Debra Willems on July 8, 1968, in Waukegan, IL. He was employed as a firefighter for the city of Kenosha for 28 years. John was a member of the United States Air Force. His hobbies included charter fishing, hunting but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Sucharda of Kenosha, his son, Craig (Melody) Sucharda of Wauconda, IL. and his brother, Dennis (Janice) Sucharda of Leona, WI.  John was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Patrick and his nephew, Dennis Jr.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
