Justin Vaughn, 43, of Kenosha passed away on October 5, 2026, at Rush University Medical Center of Chicago.

Justin was born on July 10, 1983, in Lake Forest, IL, the son of Jack and Laurie (Donahue) Vaughn. He was educated in the schools of Round Lake, IL. Justin was self-employed as a musician. His hobbies included music and spending time with his friends and family, especially with his son.

Survivors include his fiancé, Julie Krizanovic of Round Lake, IL, and her children, Mikala & Heidi; son, Jaxin Vaughn of Kenosha; mother, Laurie (Brian Matthews) Vaughn Matthews of Kenosha; brothers, Jeremey (Carla Kaiser) Vaughn of Kenosha, Jamie (Ema Kelley) Vaughn of Kenosha, Justin Krebs of Round Lake, Billy Krebs of Round Lake; sister, Tammy Martin of Kenosha; also included is a special bonus step mother, Lyn Krebs, and a host of nieces, nephews , and cousins. Justin was preceded in death by his father, and his brother, Matthew Krebs, maternal grandparents, Jim & Cheryl Donahue, and his uncle, Lance Donahue.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
