Kathleen Fujiko Ewing
1933-2022
Kathleen Ewing, 89, of Chicago passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at her home surrounded by her dear friends.
Born on January 22, 1933 in Yokohama, Japan the daughter of Tomekichi and Kane Otsuka, step-daughter of Kiyo Otsuka. Married to the late James Ewing of Chicago on March 22,1954 in Yokohama, Japan. Self-employed as a Japanese translator, she also worked for the Union Special Machine Company. Her hobbies included Ikebana, the Japanese art of floral arrangement which took her around the country teaching and demonstrating her skills, as well as playing the piano, and traveling the world.
Survived by nieces Linda Altobelli, and Debbie Twardzik, many great nieces and nephew, as well as her friends that loved her dearly.
A visitation will be held on Thursday March 17, 2022 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 9:00AM-12:00PM, with funeral services to follow at 12:00PM.  Burial Green Ridge Cemetery.
Due to COVID, facemasks are required in the funeral home.
