Larry LaPoint, 76, of Bristol passed away on Wednesday August 25, 2021, at Aurora-St. Luke's in Milwaukee.
Larry was born on January 3, 1945, in Kenosha, the son of Gerry & Rita (Worst) LaPoint. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Larry was a member of the U.S. Air Force. He married Dawn Fosdick on January 16, 1981, in Kenosha. Larry was employed as a Kenosha Co. Sheriff for 26 years, retiring in 2000. His hobbies included sailing, taking care of his horses, fishing, and spending time with family & friends.
Survivors include his wife, Dawn LaPoint of Bristol; daughter, Tina LaPoint of Racine; mother, Rita LaPoint of Kenosha; and many other family & friends. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Gerry.
Services were private at Larry's request.
