Linda Lou Ann Bennett-Norwood

Linda Bennett-Norwood, 67, of Kenosha passed away on February 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born on March 29, 1957, in Kankakee, IL, the daughter of the late Willie and Virginia Mae (Carr) Gardner Sr. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Linda married Cephus Norwood on December 17, 1990, in Waukegan, IL. She was a computer programmer for many years. Linda was a member of Deliverance Crusaders Church in Racine. Her hobbies included fashion, decorating, watching cartoons, fishing, playing slot machines, spending time with her dogs, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Gregory Bennett Jr. of Kenosha; Tamara Norwood of TX; brothers, Charles, DeWayne, Michael & Eddie; sisters, Jewel, Maryanne & Virginia; also included are her 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Obadiah & Cephus Jr. and her brothers, Willie Jr. and Freddie.

A visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Friday March 14, 2025, from 10:30AM-11:30AM with funeral services to follow immediately at 11:30AM. Burial will be held at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
