Linda Marie Varnell

1964-2022

Linda Varnell, 58, of Kenosha, Wisconsin passed away on May 1st, 2022, at Aurora Medical Center of Kenosha surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born on February 24th , 1964, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the ninth child of the late Aron and Neomia (Parker) Varnell. Linda went on to marry Donald Knight on February 24th, 2007, in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She served and retired with the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer First Class after serving our country for 21 years. Linda had a loud personality to those who knew her. Some of that fun included dancing, cooking, joking around, and being the life of the party. Linda led a very exciting and adventurous life traveling all over the world and taking risks she never thought she would have. She never ran out of stories to tell. Her conversations were always so open, and she had a very positive outlook on life. She was everybody's cheerleader and wanted everyone to win.

Linda is survived by her husband, Donald Knight; siblings - Clark, Lawrence, Patricia, Marvin, Carolyn, David, and NaToya Varnell, Norma Barker, Damita Davis, and Olivia Jones; Godchildren - Janix Varnell and Zachary Bunch. She is preceded in death by her parents, Aron Varnell and Neomia (Parker) Varnell; brother, Melvin Varnell; niece, Shakena Varnell and her cousin, Cupid Lakes.

Linda's laugh and love will be forever missed. The family of Linda Marie Varnell would like to say thank you for your love and support.

A visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Saturday May 14, 2022, from 11:00AM-12:00PM with funeral services to follow immediately at 12:00PM. Burial will take place on June 8, 2022, at 1:00PM at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
