Maria Kovacic

1942-2022

Maria Kovacic, 80, of Kansasville passed away on June 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Maria was born on May 10, 1942, in Croatia, the daughter of the late Josip Negovec and Ivanka Borcic. She was educated in the schools of Croatia. Maria was a food prep for O'Hare International Airport for many years. Her hobbies included needlepoint and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Jasminka Kevo of Brighton; 3 grandchildren Frank, Natalija and Dragan.  5 great grandchildren Aidan, Jacob, Kasey, Sasha, and Adrijana. Maria was preceded in death by her brothers, Bruno & Branko also her sisters, Ines & Anna.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
