Mary A. Cotter

1950-2025

Mary Cotter, 75, of Lake Geneva passed away on December 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born on May 22, 1950, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Robert and Geraldine (Gibbons) Cotter. She was educated in the schools of Chicago. Mary worked as a teacher for many years. Her hobbies included traveling, cooking, gardening, bird watching, loved pets but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include her son, Robert Cotter of Pleasant Prairie; sisters, Kathleen (John) McCarty of AZ, Nanatte (Daniel) Hoste of AZ, Suzette Toia of Lake Geneva and Laura (JC) Wingo TX; she is also survived by many other family members and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Geraldine and Patricia.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
