Michael “Mike” Radke
1944-2026
Michael (Mike) Radke, 82, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, died early Friday morning, August 21, 2026, after a long struggle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Susan Radke, his daughter Kathryn (Radke) Oaks, his step-children Jessica Lanham (Ted), Jennifer Hochschild, Lisa Krueger (Joe), Jim Hochschild (Dee), and Joel Hochschild, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his brother Jim Radke. He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Loretta Radke and his brother Ron Radke.
Mike attended St. Francis College, Milwaukee, WI earning a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, the Georgian University in Rome, Italy earning a Master’s in Theology, and the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee earning a Master’s in Social Work. He was deeply spiritual and lived his life guided by his faith which flowed into every aspect of his life. He listened to your stories and made you feel important, understood and loved. He devoted his life to the service of helping others, allowing people to find their voices, heal from heartache and learn forgiveness. He nurtured his relationships resulting in deep and meaningful lifetime friendships. Most importantly, he loved you, embracing you in a blanket of warmth and comfort. His life will not be forgotten but cherished and remembered by those fortunate enough to share in his life’s journey.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services & Crematory, 8226 Sheridan Rd., Kenosha, Wisconsin on Thursday, August 27th from 2:00PM-4:00PM, followed by a service from 4:00PM-5:00PM. Reflections and remembrance will follow immediately afterward. All who knew Mike or were touched by his life’s work are welcome to attend, tell stories, and pay tribute to this extraordinary man’s life.
