Nancy R. Gibbs

1947-2023

Nancy Gibbs, 76, of Kenosha passed away on December 17, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy was born on November 15, 1947, in Mt. Vernon, IL, the daughter of the late David and Virginia (Troutt) Wethington. She was educated in the schools of Southern IL. Nancy married John Gibbs on September 9, 2019, in Kenosha. She was employed as a medical secretary for 38 years. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, watching cooking shows, and traveling to Door County, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially with her husband and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, John Gibbs of Kenosha; son, Kenneth Long of Kenosha; brothers, David (Colleen) Wethington of Zion, IL, Dirk Wethington of IL; sister, Gail (Gary) Loyd of Zion, IL; grandchildren, Savannah & Nova; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
