Nicholas W .Barber, 78 of Kenosha, died Thursday September 3, 2015 at Columbia-St. Mary's Medical Center in Milwaukee.
He was born on March 18, 1937 in Hayward, Wis. the son of the late William & Mary (Della Sorta) Barber. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. He married Carol Woodard in 1960 in Kenosha, Wis. at St. Mark Catholic Church. They later divorced. He worked at A.M.C. for many years. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, bowling, and he was an avid sports fan who enjoyed cheering for the Cubs & packers.
Survivors include his ex-wife Carol of Kenosha, a daughter Laura (David) Collins of Peekskill, New York, & grandson Aaron, a sister Ann (Al) Velvikis of Kenosha. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Orton and two sisters Florence, Elizabeth.
Visitation will be Wednesday September 9, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon at Kenosha Funeral Services with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery.
