Norman Franke

Norman Franke, age 72, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away on August 7, 2021, at Froedtert-St. Catherine's. Born in Racine, WI, on June 24, 1949, Norm was the son of the late Ralph and Bea (Youngren) Franke. On July 26, 1975, he married Donna Schroeder. He was a graduate of Horlick High School, earned a bachelors degree from UW-Stout, and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

Norm began his career teaching at Zion-Benton Township High School, followed by 21 years in the engineering division at Outboard Marine Corporation. He ended his career as a tech-ed teacher at Wilmot High School. Norm loved being outdoors, planting his garden and working in the yard, and taking road trips. He also enjoyed deer hunting and his Tuesday golf league.

Survivors include his wife Donna, three children: Laura (Jeffrey) Gardner of Catonsville, MD, Melissa Sanchez of Florence, SC, Ryan Franke of Greer, SC, two granddaughters, Evie and Lexi, and brothers Jim (Gayle) Franke, Jerry (Barb) Franke and Randy Franke.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.
