Randy Smith, 47, of Kenosha passed away on May 25, 2026.

Randy was born on May 21, 1979, at St. Therese Hospital in Waukegan, IL, the son of Steve and Toni (Dusek) Smith. He grew up and was educated in the schools of Kenosha graduating from Bradford High School. Randy worked for various companies as a very skilled diesel mechanic for many years.

His biggest enjoyment in life was watching his daughter’s softball games and cheering them on. His love for baseball began right here in the fields of Little League, to Kiwana’s and to local adult softball leagues, all the while cheering on his beloved Chicago Cubs.

Survivors include his children, Morgan and Mackenzie Smith with Heather (Luska) Smith of Kenosha; parents, Toni and Steve Smith of Kenosha; brother, Christopher Smith of Kenosha; sister, Samantha Truax (niece and nephew Ava and Chad Truax) of Kenosha; grandfather, Harold Dusek of Kenosha; aunts, Debbie and Laura Hagen of Rock Island, IL.; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Randy was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Barbara Dusek and Joanne Kinney and his grandfather, Howard Smith.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
