Robert Michael Allen

1957-2023

Robert Allen, 66, of Kenosha passed away on June 30, 2023, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital.

Robert was born on June 8, 1957, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Therese Bentley. He was educated in the schools of Libertyville, IL. Robert married Catherine Lynn Woods in Lake Zurich, IL. on April 7, 1979. After some years as a stay-at-home dad, he returned to school and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside with a degree in education. He taught high school theater in Kenosha, at Bradford High School and then at Indian Trail Academy, for 18 years.

His hobbies included all things connected to science fiction and fantasy, playing games, spending time with his friends and family, and cooking.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine Lynn Allen of Kenosha; children, Meghan (Miriam Boon) Allen of Regina, SK, Canada, James (Clarissa Sutker) Allen of Kenosha and Timothy Allen of Kenosha. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister, Cari Bentley Merica.
