Robert A. Behringer

1941-2025

Robert Behringer, 84, of Sturtevant passed away on June 5, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born on February 18, 1941, in Waukegan, IL the son of the late Harold and Frances (Lux) Behringer. He was educated in the schools of Waukegan. Robert married Beth Donaldson in June of 1960 in Kenosha. He retired for AMC/Chrysler after working there for 37 years. His hobbies included gardening – he sure loved his flowers and his lawn, cooking, baking and grilling. He was a volunteer firefighter in Marinette County after his retirement. But most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his children, Susan (Paul) Alfano of GA, Carrie Moran of IL, Kristine (Dan) Pies of Menomonee Falls, Roberta (Justin) Schaubel of Pleasant Prairie, Douglas Behringer of Sturtevant; brother, Daniel (Roberta) Behringer of FL; sisters, Mary Carter of MO, Lynda Tritton of Oshkosh; also included are his 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Richard, Harold, Ronald, Frank; and his sister Marilyn.

A celebration of life will be held:
