Robert S. Gross

1943-2023

Robert S. Gross, 80, of Kenosha passed away on December 22, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born on September 5, 1943, in Marion, VA, the son of the late Mack and Sylvia (Duncan) Gross. He was educated in the schools of VA. Robert was employed as a carpenter/painter for many years. He was a member of the United States Army, earning a badge as a sharpshooter. His hobbies included fishing, cheering for the Chicago Cubs & Chicago Bears, but most of all he loved riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his significant other, Barbara Carbary of VA; children, Kathy (John) Capp of Zion, IL, Mary (Mitch) Saunders of Salem, Robert (Amy) Gross of Kenosha, Brenda Gawloski of Pleasant Prairie; also included are his 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and 7 siblings.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
