Robert John Kresch

1945-2025

Robert Kresch, 80, of Pleasant Prairie passed away on July 12, 2025, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born on July 3, 1945, in Chicago, IL the son of the late Nick and Jeannette (McVicar) Kresch. He was educated in the schools of Chicago. Robert married Donna Shabaz on December 8,1990 in Waukegan, IL. He was self-employed as a building contractor for many years. His hobbies included traveling to the Bahamas, enjoyed cookouts, fishing, cheering for the Minnesota Vikings, but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family especially with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Kresch of Pleasant Prairie; children, William (Tina) Freeman of MO, Jerrilyn King of FL, Roy (Janet) Freeman of Kenosha; sister, Nancy (Donald) Johansen of Chicago; 7 grandchildren; also included are his 7 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
