Robert James Martin

1940-2023

Robert Martin, 83, of Kenosha passed away on July 1, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born on June 1, 1940, in Kenosha, the son of the late Carl and Edna (Haensgen) Martin. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Robert married Doris Koke on July 10, 1963, in Kenosha. He was employed for AMC, Johnson Motors/OMC and Jacobson Textron throughout the years. His hobbies included bowling, fishing, hunting, playing softball, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and the Chicago Cubs but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family, especially with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughter, Victoria Hunt of Kenosha; brothers, Ron (Sandi) Martin of Rhinelander, Dave (Barb) Martin of Kenosha, Carl (Janice) Martin of Waterford, Patrick (Rose) Martin of WI; also included is his grandson, Joshua Hunt and 5 great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; sister, Kristi; granddaughter, Katrina and his grandson, Koda.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
