Rodney S. Mitchell

1965-2023

Rodney S. "Rocco" Mitchell, 58, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center in Milwaukee WI., following a short illness.

Rodney was born in Racine, WI on February 4, 1965, to Lynn Mitchell and Suzanne (Mitchell) Kirschbaum.

Rodney was an avid sports fan. He spent his time with friends watching the Milwaukee Bucks, Brewers and NASCAR. His favorite time of year was football season and cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers. During the summer months he enjoyed fishing, golfing, gathering with friends for a friendly game of Washers and riding his Harley. Rodney had a fun-loving way about him and thought of his friends as family.

Rodney was survived by his daughter Hailey Seim, his three grandchildren, mother, Suzanne (Gary) Kirschbaum, brother, Troy (Dawn Smith) Mitchell, sister, Rebecca Mitchell, significant-other Amber Abbott and his constant canine companion, Clyde Burrows Mitchell. Rodney was also survived by cousins, other relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lynn Mitchell, brother Steven Mitchell and sister Stacy Mitchell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Wisconsin Humane Society, Kenosha Campus.

In the end, our lives are a series of stories remembered by the adventures we had, the friends we made, and most of all,  the people we loved.
