Rona Warner

1941-2022

Rona Warner, 81 of Antioch, IL passed away on July 9, 2022, at Grande Prairie Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family.

Rona was born on March 10, 1941, in Roundout, IL, the daughter of the late Paul and Jessie (Wilson) Miller. She was educated in the schools of Gurnee, IL. Rona married James Johnson on August 19, 1961, in Millburn, IL and later divorced.  She then married Bob Warner who passed in 2005. Rona was self-employed as a daycare provider for many years. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, crafts, cooking, telling jokes, and most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include her children, Burt (Jean) Johnson of Lake Villa, IL, Matt (Becky) Johnson of Spring Grove, IL; sisters, Aline (George) Grange of IL, Pauline Splitgerber of WI, Linda (Larry) Harrah of KY; ex-husband, James Johnson of WI; also included are her 6 grandchildren. Rona was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Lonnie, and sister, Jennifer.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
