Ruby Katherine Donato

1951-2022

Ruby Donato, 70, of Kenosha passed away on August 18, 2022 at home.

Ruby was born on October 24, 1951 in Waukesha, WI, the daughter of the late Gustave and Alma Johnso-Dickow. She was educated in the schools of Kettle Moraine High School in Wales, WI. Ruby was employed at Abbott Labs for many years.  Her hobbies included bowling, cooking, watching soaps, and spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children Sara (Joe) Desarden of Texas, James Routt of Kenosha, Heather (Byron) Pritchard of Kenosha, Eric (Katrina) Donato of Kenosha, brother Chet (Kathleen) Dickow of Pleasant Prairie, sisters Florence (Joe) Bies of Fort Atkinson, Carol Dearborn of Ixonia, her beautiful grandchildren Jacob (Amber), Justin (Faith), Haiden, Mariah, Andrew (Kendale), Chase, Zaiden, Kayleigh, Bradley, Wesley, and her great grandchildren Kinsley Jennifer Renee, Sage Elijah and Bentleigh Renée.  Ruby was preceded in death by her parents Gustave Dickow and Alma Johnson,  husband Anthony "Tony" Donato, beloved grandson Jonathan, brothers Gus, Dick, Merlin, Jerry and sister Trudy.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday August 25, 2022 at 5 pm.
