Sharon Lacy, 64, of Racine passed away unexpectedly on Sunday June 21, 2026.

Sharon was born on July 3,1961 in Japan. The daughter of the late William A. and Dorothy (Burnworth) Lacy. She attended schools in Zion, IL and Kenosha, WI. She worked for Kenosha Steel Casting Foundry for many years then managed apartment complexes with Wayne. Sharon enjoyed vacationing, camping, butterflies, collecting oriental trinkets, diamond art, canvas painting and listening to classic rock and roll. She was a devoted Chicago Bears fan but above of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her brother John Lacy (Susie Malinowski) of Denver, CO, nephews; Matt Lacy (Carla Swenson) of Pequot Lakes MN, Kyle Lacy (Vinh Truong) of San Diego CA, nieces; Anna (David) Lindal of Racine, WI, Emily Lacy (Tim King) of Kenosha, Wi and her best friends Deborah Soldan of Cape Coral, FL and Karen Robinson of Kenosha, WI.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her soulmate of 25+ years Wayne V. McCartney, her son Dustin John Moats and brothers; William L. Lacy and Patrick Lacy.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
