Shirley J. Conley

1934-2025

Shirley J. Conley, 90, of Kenosha passed away on Sunday February 23, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Shirley was born on May 28, 1934, in Richland Center, WI, the daughter of the late Noel & Thelma (Ewers) Gander.  She was educated in the schools of Crawford Co.  Shirley married Frank L. Conley on May 30, 1950 in Crawford Co.  She was owner/operator of Shirley's Beauty Salon for many years.  Her hobbies included doing puzzles, playing cards with her sisters, going on casino trips, working in her yard, but most of all spending time with family & friends.

Survivors include her children, Lola Quane, Cathy (Gary) Pellegrino, and Tony (Anita) Conley all of Kenosha; brother, Bill (Judy) Gander of Madison; sisters, Ann Beers of WI, Helen Blakley of WI, Joyce Walker of WI, and Vickie Hale of CA; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, brothers, Duane, Richard, Floyd, and Clarence, sister, Marie Russell, son-in-law, Timothy Quane, and granddaughter, Amanda Pellegrino.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday March 4, 2025, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 11:00AM-12:00PM, with memorial services to follow at 12:00PM.
