Steven S. Hanson

1948-2021

Steven Hanson, 72, of Kenosha passed away on Thursday March 18, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Steven was born on December 5, 1948 in Racine, the son of the late Ralph & Irma (Zimmerman) Hanson.  He attended Union Grove High School.  Steven married Paulette Wood on April 5, 1975 in Kenosha.

He was employed at the American Brass until they closed and then worked at Vista International. Steve enjoyed playing dice, going to car shows, and cheering on the Packers.  He loved his home and took pride in his yard, most of all he enjoyed spending time with family & friends, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Paulette Hanson of Kenosha; children, Heather Hanson of Kenosha, Trisha (Peter) Zila of Caledonia; Cole (Sara) Hanson of Kenosha; sisters, Linda Thompson & Sandy Thompson; grandchildren, Hadleigh & Cashton Hanson, Violet, Vivian, and Vincent Zila.  Steven was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray & Elmer, sister, Nancy, brothers-in-law, Gene & Gary Thompson, Fred Busch, Ron Krok, Albert Fonk, & John Hartnell, sisters-in-law, Pat Hartnell and Rae Ann Wood.

A celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday March 23, 2021 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 4:00-6:00PM, with funeral services to follow at 6:00PM.
