Susan E. Burke

1954-2023

Susan Burke, 68, of Kenosha passed away on April 23, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Susan was born on October 15, 1954, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Gilbert and Geraldine (Miller) Bomkamp. She was educated in the schools of Chicago, IL. Susan married David Burke on September 17, 2004, in Kenosha. She worked in customer service/sales for Promotional Production Industries for many years. Her hobbies included cooking, reading, playing cribbage, doing art projects with stained glass, gardening, traveling, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, David Burke of Kenosha; children, Ian Bomkamp of IL, Heather (Tim Schmitt) Burke of Antigo, Thomas (Jaclyn Lovely) Burke of Kenosha, David Burke of NE, Kyle Mann of Kenosha; mother, Geraldine Bomkamp of Chicago; brother, Garry (Joann) Bomkamp of IL; sister, Jil (Ben) Slaski of Chicago; also included are her 7 grandchildren. Susan was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Bomkamp.

A memorial gathering will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Monday May 8, 2023, from 10:00AM-12:00PM with memorial services to follow immediately at 12:00PM.
